Bokeo Social Enterprise (BsE), located in Bokeo Province, Northern Laos, is a socially-minded company dedicated to discovering creative solutions to reduce poverty and to empowering local communities.

Bokeo Social Enterprise intensifies its training activities Training in product value added Ban Tor Lae and Ban Pung Pha (Lahu) Meung, Bokeo From March 10th to 16th, two BsE trainers, Ms Air and Ms Vilayphone, conducted a training programme to enhance the added value of wild tea grown in the proximity of the village. Prior to the programme modest sales were directed towards a Chinese factory based at the entrance of Ban Tor Lae and local traders at 4000 kip/kg. After training 4 kg of fresh leaves were processed into high quality light green tea with the potential sales price in the local market at between 50,000-100,000 kip/kg.
